Baked Cheesy Italian Chicken is an easy delicious chicken dinner recipe for chicken thighs smothered with cheesy goodness and marinara sauce.

Ingredients
- 5 chicken thighs , boneless skinless
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon coarse ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese , grated
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese , shredded
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper and place in pan smooth side down.
- Mix ricotta cheeese, parmesan cheese, dried oregano, dried basil and red pepper flakes in a small bowl and spoon over each piece of chicken.
- Pour marinara sauce over the chicken and around it.
- Bake, covered for 30 minutes.
- Uncover, top with mozzarella cheese and bake an additional 15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and browned before serving.
