This Baked Cinnamon Cream Cheese Roll-Ups recipe is a simple process that yields an amazing churro-like breakfast treat. 20 minutes in the oven (if you can wait that long) to dig in to these!

Ingredients
- 10-12 lices bread (any kind)
- 4 ounces cream cheese , softened
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- ½ cup granulated white sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ cup butter , melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350F.
- Slice the crusts off the bread
- Using a rolling pin, flatten the bread out.
- Combine the cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Lay out 2 shallow dishes (I use pie plates sometimes)
- Combine the sugar and cinnamon until well combined and add to one of the shallow dishes.
- In the other, add the melted butter.
- Spread each slice of bread thickly with the cream cheese mixture.
- Roll up tightly, dip in the butter, then the sugar and place on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 20 minutes until lightly browned.
- Devour.
Notes
- How about a variation?
- Cooked apples, diced small are awesome inside these, or maybe Raspberries, Blueberries, Nutella. Even peaches!
- Can I make these ahead?
- Actually, yes. I made these again, baked them - and then let them cool. They were great reheated in the oven - only took 5 minutes.
