Baked Ranch Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds chicken wings cut into drumettes and flats
  • 3 tablespoons homemade ranch seasoning separated (see notes)
  • 2 tablespoons butter melted
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Add the 2 tablespoons of the ranch seasoning to a small mixing bowl and reserve the other tablespoon for later. Add in the garlic powder and baking powder, then whisk to combine.
  3. Add the chicken wings to a large mixing bowl and drizzle the olive oil over the top.
  4. Toss to combine, then pour the seasoning mixture over the top. Toss again, making sure all the pieces are coated in the seasoning.
  5. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with a wire rack and aluminum foil (for easy cleanup). Bake for 20 minutes. Flip them over bake another 15 minutes.
  6. Remove the wings from the oven. Flip them back over, brush with the melted butter and sprinkle with the remaining ranch seasoning. Bake for another 5-7 minutes or until crispy and golden. Serve with ranch dressing for dipping.

Notes

  • If you don't use the Homemade Ranch Seasoning, you can use store bought instead, just be sure to use only 2 tablespoons, as it is slightly stronger in flavor.
