Banana Margarita
Report
This Banana Margarita (a.k.a. Bananarita) gives a tropical twist on the classic tequila cocktail we all love. The subtle banana flavor sweetens up the summer drink in an unusually tasty fashion.

Ingredients
- 6 ox Light Margarita Mix
- ½ banana
- 1 lime
- 2 oz tequila I recommend 1800 Coconut
- 1 oz triple sec
- 1 cup ice
- salt/sugar
Instructions
- Add ice to a blender and blend until ice is a shaved like consistency.
- Then add light margarita mix, banana, tequila, lime juice and triple sec to a blender. Pulse together for 30-45 seconds.
- Use the leftover lime to rim the glass. Dip into salt or sugar.
- Pour margarita from the blender into rimmed glass and enjoy!
Notes
- The ice will melt during blending, so it’s not a true FROZEN marg. It’s just served chilled (which is 100% delicious in my opinion!) You’ll need to add more ice to the glass prior to pouring if you’d like.

- I am 99% a salt rimmed marg girlie, BUT I’d recommend sugar for this one. It felt right with the banana flavor.
