Banana Nutella Cupcakes
Description
The banana cupcake batter starts with creaming butter and sugars until creamy, then eggs and vanilla are blended in. Mashed bananas add moisture and sweetness. The dry ingredients include all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt, mixed alternately with buttermilk to maintain tenderness. Baking produces cupcakes with a moist, soft texture and subtle banana flavor.
The Nutella frosting blends butter and Nutella until smooth, then incorporates vanilla extract and powdered sugar to achieve a spreadable consistency with a hint of milk. This frosting adds a rich, chocolate-hazelnut complement to the banana cupcakes. The assembled cupcakes are topped with this frosting once cooled, providing contrast in flavor and texture.
These cupcakes offer a moist crumb and creamy topping without being overly sweet. They work well for celebrations or as an indulgent everyday treat.
