BBQ Chicken Pizza

This BBQ chicken pizza is perfectly balanced with sweet BBQ sauce, gooey mozzarella, shredded rotisserie chicken, and crunchy red onions.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound raw pizza dough
  • 1/3 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1-1/2 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups shredded cooked chicken
  • 1/4 Thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 cup Sliced Jalapenos fresh or pickled
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F and prepare a baking sheet with a Silpat liner or parchment paper.
  2. Spread out dough onto the Silpat and set aside.
  3. Spread the bbq sauce over the dough leaving a 1-inch from the edge clear of bbq sauce.
  4. Top with 1 cup shredded cheese, chicken, sliced red onion, and jalapenos.
  5. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
  6. Add to the oven and bake for 15-20 minutes or until the crust is brown and the cheese is melted on top.
  7. Once fully cooked sprinkle with chopped cilantro and extra bbq sauce if desired.
