Ingredients
- 2 lbs stewing beef beef chuck, cut into 1-2" pieces
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- fine sea salt and fresh ground pepper to season
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil such as canola or grapeseed oil
- 1 medium yellow cooking onion, thinly sliced
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 1 x 330 ml beer lager preferably
- 1 cup 250 ml beef broth
- 2 bay leaves dried or fresh
- 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley leaves
