Ingredients
- 5 cups water divided
- 1 ½ cups white sugar
- 1 ½ cups lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 1 ½ cups blanco tequila
- ice cubes
- lemon fresh wedges for garnish
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring 1 ½ cups water and the sugar to a boil. Stir continuously to help the sugar dissolve. When the sugar has fully dissolved, remove the saucepan from the heat and cool. This mixture is called simple syrup.
- In a large pitcher, pour the simple syrup, the remaining 3 ½ cups of water, lemon juice, Blanco tequila and ice cubes.
- Stir well to combine. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Garnish with lemon wedges and enjoy!
