Bhel Puri

  • 150 gms puffed rice
  • 80 gms sev click here for the recipe
  • 20 papdis crushed, click here for the recipe
  • ½ cup onion chopped
  • ½ cup potatoes diced in small pieces, boiled
  • 8 tbsp tamarind chutney click here for the recipe
  • 4 tbsp hari chutney click here for the recipe
  • ½ chaat masala
  • ½ tbsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste

Garnish

  • 8 papdis crushed, click here for the recipe
  • 4 tbsp sev click here for the recipe
  • 2 tbsp Coriander chopped, fresh leaves
  • papdis to use as “spoons”

Notes

  • You can add some chopped green chillies and/or some chilly powder to the mix if you like your Bhel Puri spicy.
  • You can also use some raw mango as garnish, if you find any.
  • Tamarind chutney, hari chutney, sev, papdis and all the other ingredients are also available in Indian stores.
