  • To double this recipe, click on the 2X button above. The ingredient amounts will automatically update. This will make approximately 48 sausage balls.
  • You can make the sausage balls ahead of time, and bake them right before serving. Assemble the sausage balls, then store the uncooked sausage balls in a zipper bag, or storage container, until you’re ready to bake and serve them.
  • Store leftover Bisquick sausage balls in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
  • In the oven, reheat the sausage balls on a foil-lined baking sheet at 400°F for 6-8 minutes.
  • In the air fryer, reheat the sausage balls at 400°F for 4-5 minutes.
  • You can freeze cooked sausage balls for up to 3 months. Make sure the balls are cooled completely before storing them in a freezer-safe container. Thaw the sausage balls for 24 hours in the refrigerator before reheating them in the oven or air fryer, and serving.
  • To make gluten free bisquick sausage balls, either use gluten-free Bisquick, purchased at the grocery store, or make gluten free bisquick at home. To make it at home, combine 3 cups gluten free all-purpose flour with 4 ½ teaspoons baking powder, ¾ teaspoon salt and 3 tablespoons olive oil.
