  • 1 Cup unsalted butter Softened
  • ¾ Cup brown sugar
  • 1 Cup granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 Teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 Teaspoons lemon zest
  • 3 ½ Cups flour
  • 1 Teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ Teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 Teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ Cup fresh blueberries
  • ¾ Cup white chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° and line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the eggs, vanilla, and lemon zest and beat until combined.
  3. Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and mix until combined. Stir in the blueberries and chocolate chips by hand.
  4. Using a 1 inch cookie scoop, scoop out the dough and drop on the baking sheets leaving about 2 inches between each cookie. Bake for 7-8 minutes, until the edges are just slightly browning.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
