Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F or 190°C
- In a large bowl, beat the butter until soft and creamy
- Add sugar, a pinch of salt, and vanilla extract and beat until the mixture is smooth.
- Gradually add the flour and mix the cookie comes together
- Transfer the cookie dough to 11 inches by 7-inch baking pan, evenly spread, and then press firmly.
- Poke holes on the surface with a fork.
- Place into the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle some granulated sugar over the top.
- Cut into 1 1/2 inch by 3-inch pieces while the cookie slab is still hot.
- Cool and serve.
