Buffalo Turkey Grilled Cheese Sandwich

Buffalo Turkey Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are the perfect way to use up those Thanksgiving Leftovers in a totally delicious and easy recipe!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked, shredded turkey
  • ½ cup buffalo sauce
  • ½ cup carrots shredded
  • ½ cup celery diced
  • 12 slices pepper jack cheese
  • 12 slices bread
  • 6 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the turkey, buffalo sauce, carrots and celery.
  2. Spread ½ tbsp of butter on each slice of bread, flip and top half of the slices of bread with a slice of pepper jack cheese, ½ cup of the buffalo turkey mixture, another slice of pepper jack cheese and another slice of buttered bread (butter facing out).
  3. Repeat until all 6 sandwiches have been made.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. 
  5. Add the sandwiches and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
