Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine Chex, Cheerios, pretzels, M&M’s, and peanuts and mix well.
- Break almond bark into pieces and melt in a medium pot over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth. To melt the bark in the microwave, chop it into smaller pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
- Pour melted bark over cereal mixture and mix well.
- Spread out onto wax paper or a parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Let set for 1 hour, then break into pieces to serve.
Notes
- Recipe Tips.
- Store in an airtight container at room temperature. It's best within 3-4 days but can last for 5-7 days. It can also be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Thaw before serving.
- The bigger the mixing bowl, the easier it is to coat everything evenly.
- To melt the bark in the microwave, chop it into smaller pieces and place it in a microwave-safe bowl. Heat in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth.
- We prefer using almond bark, but you can use white chocolate chips. Check out our How to Melt Chocolate post for tips.
- Should you add other mix-ins, use ones that are similar in size, and be sure the ratio of snack mix to the candy coating is balanced so everything gets coated.
- We love to double the recipe and deliver this easy-to-make treat to neighbors.
