Burger Bowl

  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 Tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 Tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce 
  • 2 heads romaine, sliced
  • 1 pint grape tomatoes, halved
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup dill pickles, chopped
  • ½ red onion, sliced

Burger Sauce Dressing

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup ketchup
  • 3 Tablespoons yellow mustard
  • 2 Tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add the olive oil and beef to a skillet over medium heat. Cook the meat, while breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until the meat is cooked through and no longer pink - about 10 minutes.
  2. Once the beef is browned, add the ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire. Then, stir to combine, then remove from heat.
  3. While the beef is cooking, make the dressing. In a bowl, whisk together the mayo, ketchup, mustard, apple cider vinegar and pepper.
  4. Set up a bar with all the toppings, the meat and the dressing and let everyone assemble their own bowl.
