  • 5 lices Bacon chopped
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1/2 large onion diced
  • 1 can 15 ounces pork and beans
  • 1 can 15 ounces kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can 15 ounces butter beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the chopped bacon until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside. In the same skillet, cook the ground beef and diced onion until the beef is browned and the onion is tender. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the cooked bacon, beef, and onions with the remaining ingredients. Stir well to mix. Transfer to a large greased baking dish.
  4. Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until hot and bubbly.
