Ingredients
- 2 ounces cara cara orange juice
- 1 1/2 ounces tequila
- 1 ounce orange liqueur or triple sec
- lime juice 1/2 lime squeezed on each drink
- cara cara orange wedge and for garnish
- basil wedge and for garnish
Instructions
- Wet the edge of your glass with the juice of an orange, and dip in kosher salt. Set aside.
- Add juice, tequila, triple sec to a cocktail shaker filled with ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain into a prepared glass filled with ice.
- Garnish with ogre wedge and basil.
Notes
- If you are used to a very sweet drink, you may want to add 1/2 ounce of sweetener like simple syrup (1 part sugar, 1 part water).If cara caras are unavailable, you could use blood oranges instead.
