Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 to 3 yellow onions sliced or diced
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 2 cups Greek yogurt plain, full fat
- 1 to 1½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- chives for garnish

Instructions
- Heat the butter and oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the onions and sauté for 5 minutes or until the onions have softened.
- Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook for around 40 to 50 minutes. Stir the onions with a wooden spoon or spatula every few minutes or until the onions are golden brown and caramelized to your liking. Add more butter or oil as needed.
- A minute or two before you’re done, add the minced garlic and continue to cook until softened. Set aside the caramelized onions and garlic to cool.
- Add the Greek yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to a bowl. Mix well to combine.
- Add the caramelized onions to the Greek yogurt and then mix well to combine. Garnish with chives if desired.
