Ingredients
- 1 large or two mini sourdough boules
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage cooked and crumbled
- 2 jalapeños diced (seeds left in will add more heat)
- [Nacho Cheese Sauce]
Instructions
- Make Nacho Cheese sauce
- Stir in cooked sausage and diced jalapeños and keep on simmer. Stir often.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Score the bread in 1/2 inch slices and keep the bottom the of bread bowl intact. Fan open the cut bread, and place small pieces of foil in the crevices to help keep the soft bread exposed. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes. (drying out the bread forms a slight crust so the cheese sauce doesn't make the bread soggy too quickly).
- Remove from oven carefully remove the foil. Spoon cheese sauce in the crevices (you'll need some help with this). Serve right away.
