Ingredients
- 1 loaf Italian bread
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter softened
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic about 5 cloves
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- ¼ teaspoon salt or more to taste
- ⅓ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 ½ cups shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Fresh parsley to garnish

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° and line a baking sheet with foil.
- Mix together the softened butter, garlic, seasoning, and salt.
- Cut the loaf lengthwise and lay open faced on baking sheet. Spread the garlic butter mixture over cut side of bread.
- Bake in oven until edges just start to brown, about 7 to 9 minutes.
- Remove from oven and sprinkle parmesan and mozzarella cheese over the buttered side of bread.
- Return to oven and bake until cheese starts to brown, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley and slice. Serve warm.
Notes
- You can use any type of rustic style or baguette bread, like french bread or your favorite Italian loaf, like Ciabatta.
