A non traditional stuffing. This Cheesy Herb Stuffing recipe has dill, chives and fresh parsley along with a buttery, savory flavor.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup diced white onion
- 1/2 cup salted butter
- 12 ounces bread stuffing cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried dill
- 1 teaspoon dried chives
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 2 large eggs whisked
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese divided
- 2 tablespoons freshly snipped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350ºF. Spray a 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
- In a frying pan, sauté the onion in the butter for 10-12 minutes, or until the onion is tender. 1/2 cup diced white onion, 1/2 cup salted butter
- Place the bread cubes in a large bowl. Pour the butter and onion mixture over the bread cubes and mix. Add the seasonings, chicken stock, eggs and all but 1/3 cup cheddar cheese (set this aside for topping). 12 ounces bread stuffing cubes, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 teaspoon dried dill, 1 teaspoon dried chives, 1 cup chicken stock, 2 large eggs, 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- Put the stuffing in the prepared pan. Sprinkle the remaining cheddar cheese on top of the stuffing.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Sprinkle the top with fresh parsley before serving. 2 tablespoons freshly snipped parsley
