Chicken Marsala is an easy and delicious Italian chicken recipe with juicy chicken, mushrooms and creamy marsala sauce. This recipe is authentic and goes well with rice or pasta!

Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 15 oz (425 grams) boneless skinless chicken thighs (preferred) or chicken breasts
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic sliced
- 8 oz (225 grams) cremini mushrooms sliced
- 3/4 cup marsala wine
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
- Add the all-purpose flour, salt, and black pepper to a shallow plate and mix well. Coat the chicken thighs evenly with the flour mixture.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with one tablespoon of butter and olive oil. Pan-fry the chicken thighs for 5 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- Melt the remaining butter in the same skillet and sauté the mushrooms and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the Marsala wine, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Season with salt to taste. Reduce the heat to medium-low and simmer the sauce for 5 to 8 minutes.
- Return the chicken thighs to the skillet and continue simmering for another 10 minutes until the sauce thickens. Spoon the sauce over the chicken to keep it moist and flavorful.
- Remove from the skillet and serve immediately, garnished with chopped parsley.
