Chocolate Chip Treasure Cookies
Description
This recipe blends graham cracker crumbs with flour and baking powder to form the dry base, which is then combined with sweetened condensed milk and softened butter for moisture and sweetness. Coconut flakes add texture and a subtle tropical note, while semi-sweet chocolate chips and chopped walnuts enhance the flavor complexity with creamy sweetness and a nutty crunch. The dough is dropped by tablespoonfuls onto cookie sheets and baked at 375°F until edges turn lightly golden.
The resulting cookies are tender yet hold their shape well, offering a combination of textures from the crumbly graham base to the chewy coconut and crisp walnuts. The sweetened condensed milk creates a moist cookie that contrasts nicely with the crunchy nuts. These cookies make a sweet snack or dessert and keep well once cooled.

- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour

Notes
- Using sweetened condensed milk provides moisture and sweetness without adding extra sugar beyond the recipe’s measured amount.
- Chilling the dough briefly before baking can help maintain cookie shape if desired.
- Cookies should be baked until they are lightly browned but still soft in the center to retain chewiness.
