- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Prepare the Cookie Dough: In a large bowl, beat together butter, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add the egg and mix well.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, stirring until fully combined.
- Shape the Cookies: Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll them into balls. Place them on the prepared baking sheet about 2 inches apart.

- Serving Suggestions: These cookies are great for breakfast, as a snack, or for special occasions like holidays or family gatherings. Serve with a cup of coffee or tea.
- Storage Tips: Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week. For longer storage, freeze the cookies for up to 2 months.
