Cojito

The cojito is a Cuban cocktail made with lime, mint, rum and coconut, a variation of the mojito, but with a coconut flavor.

Ingredients

Servings
  • oz white rum
  • 1 oz Malibu , coconut rum
  • ½ oz simple syrup
  • ½ oz lime juice , freshly squeezed
  • 8 mint leaf fresh
  • 2 oz sparkling water or lemonade
  • ice crushed

Instructions

  1. In a glass, add the mint leaves. Add the simple syrup and lime juice.
  2. Muddle the mint leaves using a cocktail spoon so that they can release their aroma.
  3. Add the Malibu and mix.
  4. Add the crushed ice on top.
  5. Serve immediately.
