  • 1 pound chicken wings
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil for easy cleanup and place a greased baking rack on top.
  2. Cut whole chicken wings at the joints to separate into flats and drumettes.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and lightly dust with cornstarch.
  4. Arrange the chicken on the baking rack, skin side up, and lightly spray with cooking spray. Bake for 30 minutes without flipping.
  5. As the oven time nears completion, preheat your air fryer to 400°F and grease the basket.
  6. Transfer the chicken to the air fryer, skin side up, spray again with cooking spray, and air fry for an additional 5 minutes until fully cooked.
  7. Alternatively, you can continue baking the chicken in the oven for a total of 35-40 minutes instead of using an air fryer.
