Instructions
- Add all the ingredients into a high-powered blender or food processor. ( 2 cups cottage cheese, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon dried parsley, 2 teaspoons fresh or dried dill, ½ teaspoon salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper, 1/4 cup Water optional). Securely cover the blender and blend until smooth.
- If the dip is too thick, you may add 2 tablespoons of water and blend again until you have a whipped dip consistency. You may do this step again if you prefer your dip a bit runny.
- Taste and add more salt and pepper, if needed. The flavor will deepen and incorporate more as it sits in the fridge for a few hours.
- Place the whipped dip in an airtight container and store it in the fridge for 1-2 hours before serving it with your favorite veggies, crackers, or chips
Notes
- Storage: Store the dip in a container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- Can also be used in sandwiches or as a high-protein salad dressing.
- Use low-fat cottage cheese
- Small curd or large curd will work
- Taste your cottage cheese first. If it is salty, skip adding salt
- The dip might be a bit on the thick side. Add 1/4 cup water or milk and blend again to thin it out.
- Consider adding 1/4 cup Greek yogurt if you like but not needed.
