Cranberry Mojito Recipe
Description
The recipe begins with creating a spiced cranberry syrup by gently simmering fresh or frozen cranberries alongside water, sugar, fresh mint, ginger, peppercorns, cloves, star anise, and cinnamon. After straining and cooling the syrup, it is combined with white rum and freshly squeezed lime juice to build the mojito’s base.
The cocktail is served over ice, topped with soda water for effervescence, and garnished with frozen cranberries, lime slices, and sprigs of mint, enhancing both aroma and appearance. The syrup’s warm spice notes complement the tartness of cranberries and brightness of lime, making this an inviting seasonal cocktail.
A larger quantity can be mixed into a pitcher for group serving. The recipe yields about 2 cups of syrup, adequate for approximately eight mojitos, supporting both individual glasses or party-sized preparations.
