CRANBERRY ORANGE BREAD has the greatest sweet and tart flavor! My friends LOVED this bread and called it perfect for breakfast!

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tbsp orange zest grated
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 cup white sugar plus 1 tbsp for cranberries
- 1 egg
- ¾ cup orange juice
- 1 cup fresh cranberries chopped
Instructions
- preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- in a large mixing bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and orange zest
- whisk the butter, sugar, egg, and orange juice together
- pour wet ingredients over the dry
- stir until just mixed
- in a small bowl toss 1 tbsp of sugar and chopped cranberries
- stir cranberries into the batter
- grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan
- pour batter into the pan
- place in oven and bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
