Cranberry Simple Syrup Recipe

This homemade cranberry simple syrup is here to help you get into the holiday spirit! Add festive flavor to Christmas cocktails, mocktails, and more with our bright and warmly spiced cranberry syrup. It's easy to make and it's ready in 20 minutes!

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup sugar can use honey
- 10 lices peeled fresh ginger
- 1 teaspoon peppercorns
- 1 teaspoon whole cloves
- 4 star anise
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- Add the cranberries, water, sugar, ginger, peppercorns, cloves, star anise, and cinnamon stick to a small pot over medium-high heat.
- As soon as the liquid starts to simmer, turn the heat to low. Crush the cranberries with the back of a spoon then simmer very gently for 5 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and let it cool completely.
- Strain the cranberries through a fine-mesh sieve, pressing on the cranberries to remove as much liquid as possible.
- Transfer the syrup to a clean jar and store it in your fridge for up to 2 weeks.
