Ingredients

Servings
  • 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts (filleted into 6 pieces)
  • 2 cups Pizza Sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Lay the chicken in the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Top with the pepperoni slices.
  3. Then pour over your pizza sauce and the water.
  4. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  5. Then top with the shredded mozzarella cheese. Cover and cook on high for 10-15 minutes until the cheese is completely melted.
  6. Serve as is or over pasta and enjoy!

Notes

  • *I used fresh chicken in this recipe but you can use frozen chicken as well.  If you use frozen chicken breasts, I would add 30-60 minutes to the cook time.  
  • *Refrigerate the leftovers in an air tight container for up to 5-7 days.
