DIY Homemade Ranch Seasoning Mix
Description
This seasoning mix combines dry buttermilk powder with dried parsley, chives, garlic and onion powders, dill, kosher salt, black pepper, and optionally cayenne pepper to achieve the familiar ranch flavor profile. Ingredients are finely pulsed in a food processor to blend evenly, resulting in a ready-to-use dry mix.
The prepared mix can be refrigerated for up to 3 months in an airtight container to maintain freshness. It can be transformed into a creamy ranch dressing by mixing 3 tablespoons of the mix with 1 cup each of milk and mayonnaise. Additionally, the seasoning can enhance a variety of dishes by sprinkling or mixing it in.
