Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix together. (I use my hands)
- Roll the meat mixture into small 1 inch sized meatballs.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375° F.
- Lightly spray the basket with non stick cooking spray or olive oil spray.
- Place the meatballs in the basket, leaving space between them for even cooking. (cook in batches)
- Cook for 8-10 minutes until they reach an internal temperature of 165° F.
- Serve warm with homemade marinara or your favorite sauce.
Notes
- Use ground turkey or ground chicken.
- Use regular or seasoned breadcrumbs.
- If you make larger meatballs, add cooking time of an additional 10 minutes for 1 ½ inch meatballs and 15 additional minutes for 2-inch meatballs.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days.
- Freeze cooked or raw meatballs in an airtight container or freezer bag for up 3 months. If freezing raw, it is best to flash freeze them on a baking sheet and then place them in a bag or container with parchment paper or wax paper between layers so they don't stick together.
