Ingredients
- 1 lb crawfish tail meat
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 2 ½ cups heavy cream
- 5 oz creamed corn
- 1/2 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 green onions chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
For the Bisque
- Add 1/2 cup butter to a large pot over medium heat.
- Once melted, add onions. Sauté until soft.
- Add flour and stir until the flour is completely incorporated.
- Add heavy cream, corn, Cajun seasoning, Old bay seasoning, cayenne pepper, green onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Lower the heat and simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring frequently.
For the Crawfish Meat
- Add oil to a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant.
- Add crawfish meat and sauté for about 2-3 minutes until the crawfish meat is cooked through.
To Serve Crawfish Bisque
- Mix the crawfish meat into the bisque and pour into individual serving bowls. Enjoy!
