Easy Peach Cobbler

Easy Peach Cobbler combines canned peaches with a yellow cake mix topping and melted butter to create a sweet, cobbled dessert. The use of canned peaches in syrup gives a juicy filling, while the dry cake mix topping bakes into a golden, cake-like crust that soaks up the peach juices. A hint of cinnamon adds warmth, making it a cozy dessert served warm with ice cream.

Description

This Easy Peach Cobbler starts by layering canned peaches, with syrup included in part, in a baking dish. Ground cinnamon is sprinkled over the fruit to enhance the natural sweetness with a subtle spice note. The dry yellow cake mix is then distributed evenly over the peaches and gently pressed to integrate slightly with the syrup.

Melted butter is drizzled over the cake mix, which helps the topping to bake into a soft, golden crust that contrasts with the luscious, juicy peaches beneath. Oven baking at 350°F for one hour cooks the cobbler through, allowing the peach juices to bubble and flavor the crust.

This dish is best served warm, often paired with vanilla ice cream to complement the rich cinnamon and sweet peaches. It offers a simple yet satisfying dessert option when fresh fruit or homemade pastry is not available.

Using a boxed cake mix simplifies preparation and yields a consistent crust texture.
