Description

  • ½ cup sugar
  • ¾ cup yogurt
  • ½ cup neutral cooking oil generic cooking oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 cup flour
  • 150 g strawberries

  • few Chocolates
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder

Instructions

Cake preparation

  1. Combine all the cake ingredients and whisk in a mixing bowl.
  2. Pour cake batter into a lined cake tin.
  3. Bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes or until the inserted skewer comes clean.
  4. Cool it completely before removing it from the cake tin.

Chocolate ganache

  1. Dissolve cocoa powder in chilled milk.
  2. Pour this over the chocolates and microwave for 30 seconds.
  3. Stir it well using a spoon.

Decorating the cake

  1. Pour this chocolate ganache over the cake and spread it uniformly.
  2. Decorate with sliced strawberries!

Refrigerate

  1. Keep in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to set the chocolate ganache.
  2. Slice and serve this chocolate strawberry cake, and enjoy!
