Fried Spaghetti

This fried spaghetti recipe is quick, easy, and light. It's a great pasta dish for any day of the week. It even reheats well!

Ingredients
- 1 lb Spaghetti
- 5 Italian sausages
- ½ yellow onion chopped
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ¼ cup salted butter
- 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 large egg
- ¼ cup heavy cream
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 4 oz parmesan block
- 2 oz white cheddar cheese block
- 3 tablespoon fresh basil
- 1 can (14.5 oz) fire roasted diced tomatoes drained
Instructions
- Get out and measure your ingredients.
- Bring 4 cups of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti noodles and cook Al dente (12 minutes) drain and rinse with cold water.
- In a small bowl, whisk the eggs , heavy cream, and minced garlic.
- Pour into the spaghetti noodles and stir.
- Remove the sausage from the casing and cut into small pieces.
- Heat a wok over medium high heat. Once hot, pour in the olive oil.
- Add the sausage.
- and onions. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Next, add the butter.
- Stir until butter is melted.
- Once the butter is melted, add the spaghetti noodles to the wok.
- Stir to coat. Season with fresh cracked pepper and red pepper flakes. Cook for 3 minutes,
- Then stir in the diced tomatoes.
- Cover with a lid. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Shred the parmesan and cheddar atop the spaghetti and toss to combine.
- Stir in the chopped basil and replace the lid. Turn off the heat and let rest on the stove for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with chopped basil and cheese and enjoy!
- Serve.

Notes
