Instructions
- Remove your steamed bao buns from its packaging and spread out in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 8 minutes at 180c/360f.
- Serve with your favourite dipping sauce and enjoy.
Notes
- Dump – I love that bao buns are a dump and start air fryer recipe. No need to turn them during cooking and when it beeps, they are done.
- Spray – Unlike many of our frozen air fryer recipes, there is no need to spray the steamed dumplings with extra virgin olive oil, as they naturally brown because of how they have been prepared.
- Tested. We tested both teriyaki chicken buns and hoisin duck buns. You could do the same or try a different filling. We also did one filling in one air fryer, and another in our second air fryer.
- Thanks for reading our frozen bao buns in air fryer recipe on Recipe This. We have many more air fryer recipes for you to check out next. Though if you would like more delicious appetizers, I recommend you try our air fryer frozen chicken wings next.
