Frozen Raspberry Prosecco Sangria Recipe

Report
This Frozen Raspberry Prosecco Sangria blends vodka, frozen berries, and simple syrup into a smooth fruity base, finished with sparkling prosecco. Blending the fruit and alcohol with ice results in a slushy texture that balances sweet and tart berry flavors with effervescent wine notes. Garnishing with fresh raspberries and mint enhances the visual appeal and freshness, making it a refreshing beverage for warm weather gatherings.

Description

The Frozen Raspberry Prosecco Sangria combines vodka and frozen raspberries and blueberries blended with simple syrup and ice until smooth. Prosecco is added gradually to maintain the sparkling texture while blending everything into a creamy frozen drink. This method produces a unique sangria variant with a slushy consistency rather than the traditional stirred or chilled drink.

The flavor profile is a blend of tart berries and the dry, bubbly prosecco, balanced by the sweetness of simple syrup. Fresh mint and raspberries garnish the glasses, adding an aromatic touch and enhancing the drink's presentation.

For a traditional non-frozen version, fresh fruit can replace frozen, and a lemon-lime soda like Sprite or 7 Up is mixed in with the alcohol and served over large ice cubes. This flexibility allows variation depending on the preferred texture and presentation.
