Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta combines sautéed shrimp cooked in garlic, oregano, and red pepper flakes with pasta, butter, and fresh greens like arugula or spinach. The dish balances the richness of butter and Parmesan with bright, mildly spicy notes, delivering a flavorful meal that highlights tender shrimp and aromatic seasoning.

Description

This recipe uses peeled, deveined medium shrimp seasoned with salt and pepper, quickly cooked in butter infused with minced garlic, dried oregano, and crushed red pepper flakes. Pasta, such as fettuccine, linguine, or spaghetti, is boiled and drained separately. After cooking the shrimp, more butter is melted to combine the pasta, fresh arugula or spinach leaves, and grated Parmesan cheese, allowing the greens to wilt gently.

The cooked shrimp is then folded back into the pasta mixture, creating a cohesive dish with layers of buttery, garlicky flavor punctuated by mild heat from red pepper flakes. Fresh parsley as garnish adds a herbal note.

Serve this pasta immediately to enjoy the vibrant blend of flavors and textures, where the tender shrimp and wilted greens complement the buttery noodles.
