Nutella Chocolate Gluten Free Skillet Brownies are a rich, decadent, delicious dessert. They're easy enough to make for a weeknight treat, but also perfect for parties!

Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ cup gluten free flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips divided
  • 3 tablespoons Nutella hazelnut spread divided
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Cream ½ cup butter and 1 cup sugar together in a large bowl.
  3. Add the vanilla and eggs. Mix together then add the cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup chocolate chips.
  5. Spray a large skillet with cooking spray. Pour the batter into the skillet.
  6. Add 2 tablespoons of Nutella to the brownie batter. Use a knife to swirl the Nutella.
  7. Place in the oven and bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  8. While the brownie is baking, prepare the brownie frosting by adding the remaining ½ cup chocolate chips, 2 tablespoons butter and 1 tablespoon Nutella to a small mixing bowl.
  9. Melt in the microwave for 2 minutes, then whisk in the milk, followed by the powdered sugar.
  10. After the brownie is finished baking, pour the frosting over the brownie in the skillet. Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing and serving.
