Grilled Fresh Tuna Steak Recipe

It takes just a few ingredients and a hot grill to get great results in this easy fresh tuna recipe. The delightful combination of the rare interior and the seared exterior will blow everyone's mind.

Ingredients
- 4 tuna steaks
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- salt
- black pepper
- sesame seeds to garnish
Sauce
- 6 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 teaspoons finely grated ginger
- 2 teaspoon minced garlic

Instructions
- Prepare the sauce by whisking together the following ingredients in order in a small bowl: soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, sesame oil, ginger and garlic. Set aside.
- Preheat the grill to high.
- Rub the tuna steaks with olive oil on all sides, and sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Cook on the grill, for 2 minutes on each side.
- Transfer to cutting board and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Cut the steaks into slices, going across the grain. Serve with the sauce as a dip and enjoy!
Notes
- If you prefer your tuna to be more cooked on the inside, cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side instead of 2.
