Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 yellow onion , diced
- 3 tablespoons taco seasoning , about 1 packet
- 1 cup salsa
- 8 soft taco flour tortillas
- 1 cup cheddar cheese , shredded
- lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, sliced black olives for optional topping
Instructions
- Brown the beef in a large skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high.
- Add the onions and simmer until they begin to soften.
- Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the beef and the salsa.
- Bring to a low boil then simmer 10 to 15 minutes, or until the mixture thickens.
- Add mixture to the tacos, then top with desired toppings like cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and olives.
