Hawaiian Turkey Burgers
Report
In this easy burger recipe, homemade turkey burgers are served on Hawaiian hamburger buns, topped with pineapple jalapeno onion relish & pepper jack cheese.

Ingredients
- 3 tbsp olive oil divided
- 1 cup onion diced
- 1 cup fresh pineapple diced
- ¼ cup fresh jalapeno diced
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp sea salt
- ¼ cup green onion minced
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese
- 4 King’s Hawaiian Sweet Hamburger Buns

Instructions
- In a medium skillet, heat 2 tbsp olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the onion, pineapple and jalapeno.
- Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until onions and pineapple are caramelized, stirring often.
- Set aside until ready to assemble the burgers.
- Heat the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat or brush the olive oil onto a heated grill.
- Add the ground turkey, sesame oil, onion powder, garlic powder, sea salt and green onion to a large bowl.
- Mix the ingredients together, but be sure not to over-mix or the burgers will be tough.
- Form the meat into 4 burger patties.
- Place patties onto the hot skillet or grill for 7-9 minutes per side.
- Two minutes before removing the burgers from the grill, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on top of each burger.
- Remove the burgers from the grill and place on lightly toasted King’s Hawaiian Hamburger Buns.
- Top each burger with a spoonful of the Pineapple Onion Jalapeno Relish.
