Homemade Juice (Kompot)
Description
This Homemade Juice or Kompot recipe combines apricots, cherries, and blueberries simmered in water to extract their flavors. After washing and pitting the fruit, it is added to boiling water, then gently boiled uncovered for half an hour. Sugar is stirred in afterward to add sweetness according to taste. Once cooled, the juice is strained to remove fruit solids before refrigeration.
The resulting beverage offers a balance of sweet and tart fruit notes with a mild, natural flavor. The cooking process softens the fruit and infuses the water with their essence, creating a smooth yet fruity drink. Serving it cold enhances its refreshing qualities, making it suitable for warm days or alongside meals.
