Homemade Strawberry Basil Soda

This delicious and refreshing Homemade Strawberry Basil Soda is so easy to make and only require a few simple ingredients.

Ingredients
- 2½ cup strawberries washed and tops removed
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 cup basil
- 500 mL fizzy water
Instructions
- Add in the strawberries and a cup of water to the blender and blend until the strawberries is pureed and combined with the water.
- In a pot, add in the strawberry mix, sugar, and basil. Bring it up to a boil and then simmer for 10 minutes.
- Once done, strain the liquid into a container and let it cool to room temperature and chill in an airtight container before using.
- In a cup, add in the strawberry basil syrup, ice, and cold fizzy water. Add in some sliced strawberries if you wish.
