These Honey Garlic Chicken Bowls are quick, easy, and delicious! Featuring chunks of tender, lightly crispy chicken tossed in a sweet and sticky garlic sauce, and then served over rice. Add your favorite fresh vegetables to make it a meal!

Ingredients
- 1½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breast cut into ¾” pieces
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ⅓ cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 5 medium cloves garlic minced
- ½ cup honey
- 3 tablespoons water
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- Serving options: cooked rice green onion, Thai basil, and/or sesame seeds
Instructions
- Place cubed chicken breast in a large bowl and sprinkle with the salt and pepper. Sprinkle flour over the top and toss until chicken is evenly coated with flour.
- Add olive oil to a large skillet set over medium-high heat. When oil is hot, add chicken in a single layer.
- Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes, turning occasionally. When chicken is just cooked through, add garlic and cook for an additional minute.
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, water, and soy sauce. Add this sauce to the skillet and stir to coat the chicken.
- Bring sauce to a boil and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until bubbling and thick. If you want the sauce thicker, make a simple cornstarch slurry – whisk together 1 tablespoon cornstarch and 2 tablespoons water in a small bowl, then stir some or all of it into the bubbling sauce. Let it cook for a bit to thicken.
- Serve immediately with your choice of sides and garnishes.
