Tasty German Hot Dogs with a tangy krautslaw (a fusion of sauerkraut and coleslaw) for a healthy twist!

Ingredients
- 4 Warburtons sub rolls
- 4 German frankfurters
- oil for frying, drizzle
For Krautslaw
- 1 Cup sauerkraut drained
- ½ carrot grated, medium
- ½ apple grated, dessert variety
- mayonnaise enough to coat
Toppings
- gherkins sliced, pickled
- mustard German style
- fried onions crispy
- ketchup
Instructions
- Mix the drained sauerkraut with the grated carrot, apple and enough mayonnaise to coat. Set aside in the fridge.
- Fry the frankfurters in the oil in a griddle pan according to their instructions.
- Side slice the sub rolls and fill with the krautslaw, sliced gherkin and frankfurters.
- Finish off with a squirt of German mustard plus ketchup and crispy onions if you wish.
