This Hot Toddy Recipe is just the thing you need when you're feeling under the weather. A perfect blend of whiskey, honey, lemon and immune-boosting spices make this one a keeper.

Ingredients
- 2 oz whiskey I used bourbon whiskey
- 1 oz lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 2 tsp raw manuka honey or any raw honey you have
- 6 oz hot water not boiling
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 lemon slices
- 3 whole cloves
- 1 star anise pod

Instructions
- In a heat-resistant glass or mug, combine whiskey, honey, lemon juice and hot water.
- Stir until honey is dissolved.
- Place whole cloves into a lemon slice (so you don't swallow them whole!).
- Garnish the beverage with lemon slices (with clove), cinnamon stick and star anise.*
- Drink warm and feel better soon!
Notes
- *Alternatively, you can add the whole cloves and star anise to a tea infuser ball.
- **If adding tea, simply replace freshly brewed tea with some or all of the hot water.
