How Long To Cook Steak In Air Fryer?

Learn how long to cook steak in air fryer as part of our air fryer back to basics series.

Ingredients
- 2 Fillet Steaks
- salt & pepper

Instructions
- Place the steaks into the air fryer basket. Make sure you spread them out and none are on top of each other. Season the steaks well with salt and pepper.
- Air fry the steaks at 180ºC/360ºF for 4 minutes, and then flip the steaks over with tongs.
- Season the other side of the steaks with salt and pepper and cook for the same time and temperature, until they have done 8 minutes at 180c/360f.
- Allow to rest and then serve with your favourite steak sides.
Notes
- Dual. If you have an air fryer dual (such as this one we have) we recommend instead cooking steak in one drawer, and then you could cook air fryer frozen fries in the other.
- Demo. We have mentioned several steaks with the time and temps in this guide, though note in our photographs we have demonstrated with fillet steak (filet mignon).
